Patients should not use food and water for at least 8 hours before surgery and should fast during the operation.
If you use anticoagulants such as aspirin and warfarin and painkillers, tell your doctor because they should be discontinued a few days before surgery.
It is better for patients to take a bath the day before the operation. Clean the face and around the eyes with shampoo or soap.
Do not clean under the eyebrows for two to three weeks before surgery.
Women should not use cosmetics on the face and around the eyes on the day of surgery.

After surgery, patients can use antibiotic eye ointments on the operation site and sutures according to the doctor’s instructions.
In the first 24 hours after the operation, a cold compress should be used intermittently on the operation site and not used overnight after 4 hours. In the second 24 hours, have an hour of cold compresses and an hour of rest.
From the third day onwards, cold compresses are started, and hot compresses are applied on the site for 10 minutes every hour.
If there is pain, oral analgesics can be used.
Sutures on the skin of the face, etc. are absorbable and are removed by the doctor on the fifth day after surgery, and do not manipulate the sutures.
Bruising and bulging eyelids gradually disappear 2-3 weeks after surgery.
The patient does not have much pain after surgery, and in case of severe pain, bleeding, vision loss, be sure to inform the surgeon.
Patients are not forbidden to eat food, but it is better to use vegetables and fruits that contain vitamin C.
It takes 3-6 months to be able to judge the final outcome of the action.
